PHOENIX- If you’ve seen Jordan Peele’s latest horror film, Us, then you understand a thing or two about how twisted (but thrilling) the idea is.
Now, you can emerge yourself into the “shocking reality” of the film and all that comes with it. At Universal Studios in both Florida and California, you can walk through an Us– themed haunted house as part of their Halloween Horror Nights.
According to a press release, the experience will take you through some of the film’s iconic locations like the Wilson family beach house, the Santa Cruz Pier, and right outside of the Fun House. It also takes you through the creepy underground tunnels and brings you face-to-face with “The Tethered,” the incredibly frightening doppelgängers in the movie.
I know I for one would not want to meet my Red.
Throughout the experience, you follow Adelaide Wilson as she goes through her horrifying encounters with Red. You will watch as the two go head-to-head in a “deadly dance” right before a fatal ending reports a press release.
“As you venture deeper through the haunted house, you will be transported to modern-day, and witness “The Tethered” rise-up from the underground labyrinth, ready to take on their privileged upperworld counterparts – determined to enact their plan of murder and revenge.”
The haunted house is apart of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights event opening to guests in September. With ten frightening mazes and five spine-chilling scare zones, this event is sure to bring guests face-to-face with your deepest fears.
Opening day for the Florida park is Sept. 6 and Sept. 13 in California. Check out the website for exact days and times and to purchase tickets.
