Graduation rates are going all the way up! Thanks, Obama.
On Monday, President Barack Obama spoke to a high school in Washington D.C. that graduated 100% of its seniors last year and highlighted their merits as an example of how high school graduation rates have been increasing over the past years. The 2014-2015 school year had the highest graduation rate in the U.S., with graduation record at 83.2 percent. During Obama’s visit at the high school, he stressed the importance of furthering their education past high school, telling them that in the global economy that we live, “the best jobs are going to go to the people that are the best educated…”
