Scottsdale photographer Brianna Anderson captured 11 moms’ journeys from when they were pregnant to when their kids turned one year old in three breathtaking images.
Anderson started photographing babies and new parents in 2010. Not traditionally trained in photography, her passion grew from working as a nurse in the NICU where premature or sick infants are cared for. What started as a creative project grew into what Anderson calls her “mom tribe.” She photographed the 11 moms pregnant, with their newborns and one year later. Surprisingly, the hardest part wasn’t coordinating schedules but finding dresses since none of the gowns worn are maternity. Anderson credits the styling to Risa Kostis of RiStyle Consulting.
WAIT … THERE’S MORE
