The I-10 freeway will have closures every night this week.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is closing at 59th Avenue in both eastbound and westbound directions every night this week. ADOT crews are working on flyover bridge structures that will connect the I-10 to the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway. The Westbound I-10 will be closed at 59th Ave. from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8. The Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane with brief intermittent closures at 59th Ave. from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday through Friday, and again on Friday starting at 10 p.m. and ending Saturday at 5 a.m., Aug. 12.
