The crowd went wild when a quarterback in Texas turned his crown over to his friend and football team manager who has Cerebral Palsy. Max Akin was voted Homecoming King, but said his friend K.L., who has Cerebral Palsy, is more deserving of the title. “I was lucky enough to acknowledge the fact that K.L. deserved it in the first place,” Max told CNN. “K.L. is the most positive person you’d ever meet.” The students go to Keller Fossil Ridge High School just north of Fort Worth, TX. Video of the sweet exchange between friends has since gone viral.
