We’ve all had diet horror stories, but this new study, published by researchers in Portugal, gives those of us who are trying to slim down before summer, a little more hope.
That’s where the pizza comes in.
The study claims that “cheat” days help curb your cravings and keep you on track to the healthy lifestyle we all try, and often, fail to achieve.
According to the study, by allowing yourself to eat whatever you want one day a week, you’re more motivated to stay on your diet. It gives you a light at the end of the tunnel, and boy, is that light cheesy.
But, the key to indulging while also losing weight has to do with planning your meals.
If you designate one day a week to “cheat” on your healthy lifestyle then there’s absolutely no harm done.
One thing to keep in mind is to not “binge” eat on these days. We all love our pizza, but be sure to eat in moderation.
There are also recipes that give pizza a healthy twist without losing it’s delicious taste for times when your “cheat day” is just too far away.
