Celebrating the Life of Chester Bennington

Live 101.5 hosts candlelight vigil to celebrate the life of Chester Bennington.

The loss of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington was felt throughout Arizona. The band planned to perform at Talking Stick Resort Arena tonight before Chester’s devastating death. In its place, 101.5’s The Morning Mess is hosting a candlelight vigil to honor Chester and hopefully help others who might be struggling with depression. The vigil will take place on the Fry’s Plaza at Talking Stick Resort Arena August 30 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Chester grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and later attended Centennial High School in Peoria. He was found dead on Thursday, July 20 at a private residence in Los Angeles County from an apparent suicide. Chester is survived by his wife and six children. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression call 1-800-273-8255 or visit suicidepreventionlifeline.org for more information
