Whole Foods Market in Downtown Tempe opens today

PHOENIX — The days of traveling out of downtown Tempe to go to Whole Foods is over! A new Whole Foods Market is opening Wednesday, Nov. 6 on Ash Ave. and University.

The grocery store is 40,000 square feet and is located on the bottom floor of The Local, an apartment complex, just a block from Mill Ave.

The first 300 customers will get a custom reusable shopping bag along with a gift card from $5 to $100.

The location offers grocery delivery through Amazon.com for Prime members. At the store, there is a coffee bar, full -service bar, with indoor and outdoor seating available.

The store is located on 750 S Ash Avenue Tempe, AZ 85281. The store is open from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. today for its Grand Opening. Regular business hours are 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily.
