Art is constantly changing and the way we discover art is changing too.
Geoff Dyer, a photography essayist and writer in residence at University of Southern California, will be at the Phoenix Art Museum on February 24 to discuss the ten most exciting photographers he discovered this year.
During the presentation, Dyer will show off work from the photographers he selected and give a little background on why he chose them.
There will be a raffle to win a piece of work from Paulette Tavormina, voted last year as the audience favorite. The crowd this year will vote on the print that will be raffled next year, so if you want a chance at a print and want to help choose the winner for next year, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
The presentation is from 7-8:30pm at The Phoenix Art Museum at 1625 N. Central Avenue. Admission is free.
