Phoenix’s swanky resort hotel scene has a hip new contender.
This December The Camby Hotel will welcome guests to it’s playful, avant-garde luxury property nestled in the Biltmore area in Phoenix.
“We’re proud to announce the opening of The Camby Hotel and look forward to welcoming out-of-town visitors and locals to our luxury lifestyle hotel,” says Greg Miller, chief inspiration officer of The Camby Hotel.
What’s in a name
According to Hotel owner Autograph Hotels, their newest property The Camby Hotel’s name was inspired by it’s close proximity to Camelback Mountain. The hotel is located near 24th Street and Camelback Road.
The desert-inspired theme doesn’t stop there.
Hotel designers wanted to create a very Arizona-themed experience for guests and locals who stay and play on property.
With desert landscape around every turn, the hotel’s designers also incorporated the five C’s of Arizona into the resorts decor.
C’mon, you remember those from 5th grade right? -Copper, cattle, citrus, climate and cotton.
The property is influenced by the state’s colors with pops of turquoise and copper featured throughout.
Oh, and there’s a rooftop pool with desert and city views, a boutique spa, and 20,000 square feet of luxury meeting accommodations.
The guest rooms
The 277 guest-room hotel will begin welcoming visitors and locals in December 2015, with room reservations available in early November.
